u-value tables
U-value tables and Ram analysis
Due to the temperature conditions in Finland’s northern climate, the thick and effective thermal insulation of building parts is much more susceptible to the effects of air flows (natural convection) than further south in Europe. For this reason, the effects of the air permeability of the thermal insulation must be taken into account when calculating the heat transfer coefficient (U-value) of structural parts by analysing the so-called modified Rayleigh numbers (Ra m).
Our U-value table has been calculated according to the new RIL 225-2023 “Rakennusosien lämmönläpäisykertoimen laskentaohje” (calculation guide for structure thermal conductivity values) instructions. Check out the instructions here.
